General Information
The Sanford ISD was organized in 1928 and
encompasses slightly more than 35 square miles. The
district's name was changed to Sanford-Fritch ISD in
2005. It is located in the heart of the Panhandle oil
field and along the southwest shore of Lake Meredith. Sanford-Fritch
ISD is accredited by the Texas Education Agency and
provides quality education for Pre-Kindergarten through
12th grade. Also provided are Gifted and Talented
programs, CHAMPS Academy (an alternative school), and
special educational programs as well as a vocational
educational program in secondary school.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Sanford Independent School
District in partnership with parents and community, is
to graduate young men and women who have the academic,
social, and practical skills needed to succeed in our
competitive, global, and ever-changing society.

Campuses will be free of drugs and violence and will
offer a disciplined environment conductive to learning.
Student achievement will continue to improve each year
as measured by the annual Academic Excellence Indicator
System (A.E.I.S.) report
