Sanford ISD was organized in 1928 and encompasses slightly more than 35 square miles. The district’s name was changed to Sanford-Fritch ISD in 2005. It is located in the heart of the Panhandle and along the southwest shore of Lake Meredith. Sanford-Fritch ISD is accredited by the Texas Education Agency and provides quality education for Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.
