⭐️ STAAR Test & Tentative Summer School Dates ☀️

Good Evening Parents,

English STAAR testing will take place on Tuesday, April 7 for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Please help your child be successful by ensuring they get plenty of rest the night before and arrive at school on time. Breakfast will be served first thing in the morning. Students should bring their charged Chromebook and may also bring a bottle of water. All cell phones and smart devices will be turned off and turned in prior to testing.

We know returning from a long weekend and jumping right into testing can be challenging, but we are confident our students are ready. They have worked incredibly hard this year, and we are so proud of the growth they have shown. We truly believe in each of them and know they are capable of success. A little encouragement from home goes a long way. Please remind your child to stay confident, take their time, and do their very best. They’ve got this!

Additionally, we would like to share tentative summer school dates of July 20–July 31. Hours will be confirmed on a later day, but we wanted to provide this information early so families can plan accordingly. We will not know which students need to attend summer school until STAAR results are received, which will be closer to the end of May.
